Introduction
At Testhacker, we believe your privacy is a right, not a policy checkbox.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Testhacker website, mobile applications, web applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It also explains your rights under applicable law — including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023.
If you have questions, email us at support@testhacker.app.

1.3 Optional Demographic Data
Certain features of the Services may invite you to optionally provide demographic information to personalize your analytics (for example, benchmarking your progress against peers with a similar profile). Providing this data is entirely voluntary and requires your explicit, affirmative consent at the point of collection. You may withdraw this consent and delete this data at any time via your account settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the Services — including account management, feature access, and technical support.
- Personalize your experience — generating study paths, progress dashboards, and relevant recommendations.
- Communicate with you — responding to support requests, sending product updates, and transactional notifications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Improve the Services — analyzing usage patterns to fix bugs, enhance features, and make product decisions.
- Ensure platform integrity — detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations — responding to lawful requests from regulatory authorities.
We will not sell your personal data to third parties. Full stop.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your data only in these specific circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Services (cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics). These vendors are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions and in accordance with this policy.
- Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Testhacker or our users.
- Business transfers: If Testhacker is acquired, merged, or undergoes a restructuring, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to delete your account.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
Anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for analytical and product improvement purposes.

However, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you as required under applicable law, including the DPDPA 2023.
